Maddie had her surgery on Thursday, November 19th and I picked her up on Friday. Even after reading tons of things on tripawds, I didn’t expect her to walk out to me at the vet’s office! She was so happy to see me and dragged me to the car like her old self. She even wanted to jump in!
I just read your blog and am inspired because my dog buddy just had surgery yesterday and i will be picking him up this afternoon!

Maddie is doing fabulous…hates to take all her medicine, but peanut butter works great and a treat after. She is really quite around the house and sleeps alot, but she is always ready for a ride or walk. The walks are shorter now and she rests along the way but is happy all the same! Her personality hasn’t changed a bit!
She wears an old t-shirt that fits pretty well. This keeps her away from her incision as it is seeming to bother her more. She had her left front leg amputated.
